Peer Learning on Social Accountability through Exchange Visits15/01/2014
The Community of Practitioners on Accountability and Social Action in Health (COPASAH), is facilitating peer learning about social accountability in South Asia through exchange visits. The first exchange took place late last year and featured a women’s organization monitoring access to maternal health services.
The learning exchange visit allowed representatives of diverse organizations to understand the approach, practices and local context of a peer, and facilitated open dialogue and learning about the successes and obstacles faced by the local group. Participants discussed what lessons they would bring back to their own organizations, based on what they learned during the visit.
COPASAH will sponsor a second peer learning exchange visit later this month.
For more information on COPASAH and the peer exchange, please contact E. Premdas Pinto (firstname.lastname@example.org).
