Open Government Guide
The Open Government Partnership (OGP) is an international voluntary effort to foster more transparent, effective and accountable governments. The Open Government Guide has been developed to help support governments and civil society working together to develop ambitious action plans as part of the OGP.
The guide draws on contributions from leading experts across a wide range of open government topics and highlights practical, measurable, specific and actionable steps that governments can take depending on their starting point:
Initial steps starting from a relatively low baseline
Intermediate steps building on moderate progress
Advanced steps demonstrating good practice
Innovative steps testing new approaches
You can navigate the site at www.opengovguide.com, or by clicking on the individual topics listed to the right. A summary of the recommendations for the cross-cutting topics or a for all topics can be downloaded as a pdf report, or you can use the report builder, to create your own custom report with as much or as little information as you need on the topics that are of particular relevance.
