Dear readers! Our thoughts have been with the people of Turkey and Syria this past week. As recovery efforts continue following the terrible earthquake, we also see emerging demands for accountability. Turkish justice authorities have begun to target contractors accused of violating building codes, while Oya Özarslan, Chair of TI-Turkey, highlights the role of corruption in the disaster. Calls will grow to clarify responsibility for both widespread building collapses, but also slow responses.

Dear readers!   There are lots of "most read" lists circulating at the moment and we were interested to learn that the most-read article published by Stanford Social Innovation Review in 2022 was one on collaboration. Sadly, not the TAI-authored piece on funder collaboration, but one on the importance of working together in more radical ways for systems change– something we hope TAI members can push more in 2023.
